The device is supplied in a cardboard box, which includes:

- 1 12/24V DC adapter
- 1 USB wire
- and a manual.
Location and tracking
Carscop CCTR-808S is embedded with GPS and doesn’t have support of GLONASS and alternative systems. It either doesn’t support Assisted GPS (A-GPS) technology.
As the back-up, it uses Cell-ID (LBS) location technology.
SOS-button
The device has built-in SOS button, but it only activates SMS-message/calls to the pre-defined numbers.
Mobile networks
With Quad-band GSM 2G module Carscop CCTR-808S can be operated all over the world.
Power supply
Carscop CCTR-808S has a 12/24V adapter, which makes possible to use it with all car models.
CCTR-808S also features a built-in rechargeable backup battery of 4000 mAh capacity. When fully charged it ensures about 2 days of device operation (in normal conditions).
The device also features built-in solar battery. Place the tracker in the sunlight, and the solar battery will recharge the tracker automatically, in the long distance transport or longtime tracking please install the tracker in the place with sunlight, this can extend the battery working time, but it is impossible to finished fully charging only by solar power when working.
Note: The voltage of the charger must not be higher than 5.5V. High voltage will damage the tracker. Please use the OEM adapter, it needs 5-10 hours to charge the tracker fully. Place the tracker in the sunlight as far as possible and it will extend the battery working time observably.
Local and remote management
Carscop CCTR-808S tracker can be fully controlled over GPRS. There is also a wide list of SMS commands in a human-friendly format, on which device always replies back. It supports remote APN settings configuration by SMS.
