GSS-2160 3G H/W
GSS-2160 3G is a fully integrated tracking device for communicating mobile asset location information to owners via ubiquitous 3G networks. With an integrated GPS engine, embedded cellular, PCS and GPS antennas, GSS-2160 3G is a cost effective solution for monitoring vital location data for remote assets.
Location and tracking
GSS-2160 is embedded with GPS and doesn’t have support of GLONASS and alternative systems. It either doesn’t support Assisted GPS (A-GPS) technology.
GSS-2160 3G has an optional external GPS connector for instances where higher GPS sensitivity is required. With it’s compact design, GSS-2160 3G can be covertly installed in tight locations.
Inputs
GSS-2160 3G provides two all-purpose digital inputs and one internal analog input used to monitor battery voltage. In addition to multiple inputs, GSS-2160 provides a digital output that can drive ignition relays.
Mobile networks
With Six-band GSM 3G module GSS-2160 can be operated all over the world both in 2G and 3G networks.

Local and remote management
With its highly mature firmware, GSS-2160 3G supports TCP, UDP, FTP and is capable of firmware update and configuration over-the-air.
In case you are not able to configure device over the air, manual management over SMS-commands and configuration software is also available.
