Meitrack MVT100

Meitrack MVT100 it is a rather portable GPS tracker for vehicles. It is distinguished by its very special design and orientation for motorcycles and small boats. This device has the built-in magnets for easy installation to the vehicle.

MVT100 is a waterproof and dustproof model with a wide range of tracking options.

Location and tracking

Meitrack MVT100 model is embedded with GPS chip. It doesn’t support Assisted GPS (A-GPS) technology. As the back-up, when no satellites signals are available, it uses Cell ID location (also known as LBS-tracking).

Mobile networks

Meitrack MVT100 has a Quad-band GSM module that allows to use it all over the world.

Power supply

MVT100 uses built-in rechargeable backup battery of 850 mAh capacity. When fully charged it ensures about 4 hours of device operation (in normal conditions).

Note: When you use the MVT100 for the first time, connect the MVT100 GND (-Black) and Power (+Red) wires to 12 V or 24 V external power supply for charging. Ensure that the MVT100 is charged at least three hours. Eight hours are recommended. The MVT100 can be installed on a vehicle only after it is configured and tested

Local and remote management

Meitrack devices support management via GPRS. Also, there is a wide list of SMS commands, on which device always replies back. In particular, Server address and port, APN settings can be applied remotely with SMS.

LED Indication

MVT100 has two LEDs:

• Green LED indicates GSM mode
• Blue LED indicates GPS reception
