SCAT-Mayak is a very simple vehicle GPS tracker. It is suitable for fleet management when knowing the location of the vehicle is most important. The main feature of the device is Driver identification via Bluetooth, so there is no need in any keys, tags, etc. The device identifies its owner by the smartphone. SKAT-Mayak has the memory for five devices, and sends SOS-message when someone tries to start the engine.

SCAT-Mayak is supplied to the customer in a cardboard box containing all the equipment that is necessary for operation.

Location and tracking
SCAT-Mayak has two operation modes – continuous and interval.
In interval mode it locates itself through the user-determined periods of time. In continuous mode the device is always transmitting its location, so you can track the device in real time.
SCAT-Mayak is embedded with GPS, it doesn’t support GLONASS or alternative systems.
As the back-up, when no satellites signals are available, it uses Cell ID location (also known as LBS-tracking).
Mobile networks
SCAT-Mayak has a Dual-band 900/1800 GSM 2G that allows to operate it in the supported mobile networks.
Power supply
External power supply range might be 6V – 24V, which makes possible to install device both on all car models.
The device also has a backup battery, which ensures about an hour of operation under normal conditions.
Local and remote management
SCAT-Mayak can be fully controlled over GPRS. There is also a wide list of SMS commands in a human-friendly format, on which device always replies back. It supports remote APN settings configuration by SMS.
