«Device timezone» is a portlet to change the timezone for some device models. It allows to correct timezone if the device configured not to UTC+0.
In case you set the wrong Time Zone, you won't be able to monitor the device on the platform. It is highly recommended to change this parameter only in case you are 100% confident that the current device Time Zone is not set to UTC+0.
