Auto geofencing

Auto geofencing (unauthorized movement) is available in many automobile GPS/GLONASS trackers. If the ignition is off and a tracker receives GPS coordinates outside an auto-geofence zone, it means a vehicle is leaving its parking area.  A tracker will immediately generate an event and send it to the platform. A user can set a notification about an “Auto geofencing” event per Email or SMS.

There is a separate panel for configuring this function in the "Device and settings" section. It allows you to set the time after ignition switched off and radius for triggering:

  • Monitor unauthorized movement - having chosen enables auto geofencing monitoring.
  • Control start in - the time after the ignition is switched off, after which unauthorized movement control starts.
  • The radius of the controlled area - the radius of the virtual zone, the exit of which will be controlled.
