# Uso del canal SMS

Configure cómo un dispositivo GPS usa su canal SMS en Navixy con el bloque de uso del canal SMS, incluido un modo de alerta por batería baja.

Selecciona qué mensajes envía el dispositivo exclusivamente a través del canal SMS en lugar de la conexión de datos móviles (GPRS). Esto es útil cuando los datos móviles no están disponibles o no son confiables, por ejemplo, en áreas con cobertura débil.

Activar la entrega por SMS para un tipo de mensaje aumenta la cantidad de mensajes SMS que envía el dispositivo, lo que puede generar cargos adicionales según el plan de la SIM.

## Configuración

El bloque muestra una lista de tipos de mensaje que pueden enviarse a través del canal SMS. Las opciones disponibles dependen del modelo del dispositivo. La opción más común es:
