This article will help you to sort out how some alerts work in the platform, and how you should set them up.
This alert allows to:
- select an acceptable range of values for the measured parameter, for example, for temperature
- receive an alert if the value of the measured parameter goes out of the selected range
- receive an alert if the measured value returns to the selected range
This rule is often used to monitor compliance with the conditions of food \ medicines transportation.
For example, if temperature sensor will detect the value less than +1 °C or more than +2 °C, the system will send an alert “Sensor value out range”.
How to set up the rule

- Create the alert rule
- Choose the sensor.
- In «More than» and «Less than» fields specify the lower and upper limits when sensor readings are considered acceptable.
- Specify value threshold. The rule will work if the sensor reading deviates from the acceptable value to the value you specified.
Geofences are used to specify a virtual zone, crossing the borders of which, user would be notified of the event. For example, if the construction equipment leaves the zone established by the manager, the system will send an alert to the specified phone number or e-mail address.
How to set up the rule
After you will create the rule, do the following:
- Notifications
In this block, you must specify the texts of messages and choose how to notify.

- Geofences
In this block, you need to select the geofence in which the control will be carried out. It is also possible to create a new geofence.

This function will allow you to instantly learn about the sudden change in fuel level in the tank. If it is increased or decreased, you will receive an alert to the specified number / e-mail address.
Before creating a rule, you need to add and configure a fuel sensor, which will be monitored.
How to set up the rule
- Create the alert rule
- Rule options
In this block you need to specify the fuel sensor. To control the fuel level change for another device, add a new rule.

- Notifications
In this block, you must specify the texts of messages and choose how to notify.

- Geofences
In this block, you can select the geofence in which the control will be carried out. It is also possible to create a new geofence.

IMPORTANT: Please be advised that you can assign only 1 geofence to work with any rule. If you need to receive alerts from several geofences, you need to create new rules, and specify their parameters with new geofences.
