# Connecting other AI tools

This page provides generic connection instructions for MCP clients that don't have a dedicated setup guide. Use the dedicated guides for [Claude Desktop](/docs/navixy-mcp/navixy-mcp-server/getting-started/configuring-navixy-mcp-in-claude-desktop.md), [Cursor](/docs/navixy-mcp/navixy-mcp-server/getting-started/configuring-navixy-mcp-in-cursor.md), and [ChatGPT and Codex](/docs/navixy-mcp/navixy-mcp-server/getting-started/configuring-navixy-mcp-in-chatgpt.md).

## Compatibility requirements

To connect to Navixy MCP Server, your AI client must meet both of the following requirements:

* It supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP or SSE transport.
* It supports OAuth or allows custom request headers for authentication.

## MCP addresses

<table><thead><tr><th width="182.4000244140625">Connection</th><th>URL</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>User API</td><td><code>https://platform.mcp.navixy.com/user/mcp</code></td></tr><tr><td>Admin Panel API</td><td><code>https://platform.mcp.navixy.com/panel/mcp</code></td></tr></tbody></table>

## How to connect

The easiest way to connect Navixy MCP Server to any AI client is to ask it directly. Many AI tools can set up MCP connections from a conversation. Try a prompt like:

```
Connect an MCP server https://platform.mcp.navixy.com/user/mcp
```

If your client supports conversational MCP setup, it will guide you through the remaining steps. If not, it may provide client-specific instructions for your tool.

If the conversational approach doesn't work, the sections below cover the two standard connection patterns that most MCP-compatible clients support.

## How to authenticate

If your MCP client supports OAuth, add the endpoint URL and start its authentication action. Some clients open the Navixy login page automatically. Other clients require a separate action, such as **Authenticate** or `codex mcp login`.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://navixy.com/docs/navixy-mcp/navixy-mcp-server/getting-started/connecting-other-ai-tools.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
