Blog Release notes

October 2017

Web-applications

  • Updated “Reports” app:
    • Addresses became more intuitive. A geofence name is now attached to the corresponding address. For ex., you can find out that the employee traveled to the client.
    • For the measurement equipment reports, the minimum granularity interval was reduced to 5 minutes. An address was added to each measurement. This allows to get a more detailed report on the measurement equipment operation, for instance, it can be a temperature sensor in a refrigerator.
  • In the “Fleet” app the number of vehicle subtypes was increased to 50.
  • The “Objects” panel now displays a number of devices in groups. Thus, a manager can quickly estimate how many cars or employees there are in each department or branch.
  • A beacon name change is now recorded in the event history. This will allow companies with a large fleet to prevent trackers accidental renaming.
  • LBS-point minimum radius was reduced to 100 meters. This way, with no GNSS signal it will be possible to see an object entering/exiting the geozone with more accuracy.
  • Geofences were supplemented with tags for their easy access and grouping.
